On Friday the 19th of February 2016, we showcased our new ‘Made in London” Autumn/ Winter 2016 collection in a private fashion soiree at the Oxford House gallery in Bethnal Green.
Following our previous collection’s theme “Urban Legend”, our designer Hannah Lloyd Jones kept the sense of geometric shapes and architectural influence and broadened it with a variety of colours and layered detailing.
The Romanesque architecture, the arches and colours of Royal Albert Hall were the inspiration that gracefully shifted into layered block colour dresses, high waist trousers and cropped tops.
As an aspiring ethical fashion label we made sure the collection is produced in the United Kingdom and featured dresses and trousers’ samples of different sizes, which were showcased by our healthy looking models.
The highlight of this collection showcase is the Teal block dress designed exclusively in support of the Ovarian Cancer charity Campaign “Ovacome”. The dress will be auctioned during “Tea with Ovacome goes Vintage” charity event and all proceeds will go towards helping the “Ocavome” charity.
The night was a great opportunity for ethical and fashion bloggers, buyers, press and photographers to mingle and share their thoughts on the future of fashion and in particular on the ethical fashion.
Our dear friend and designer Victoria Charles displayed her latest sophisticated millinery collection which was modelled and showcased alongside our AW16 collection garments.
A special thank you for our sponsors Top Herd & Easy Bean that kept our guests entertained with their delicious and tasty organic products.
