We at London Ethnic, went to Scoop launch and then again on the last day. Held at the Saatchi Gallery in Chelsea, the Scoop International event launch was beautifully laid out. Designers showcased their latest women’s wear, jewellery lines, footwear and scents covering every inch of the gallery.
Mannequins were dressed up to show us how we could pair these beautiful outfits. Many of these designers were from different countries, with a lot of Spanish and American lines, but there were a few British brands to represent! We left with little goody bags filled with magazines at the end of the day.
We are delighted with the prospect that we may soon be working with charitable enterprise Sweet Cavanagh. This London based charity, set up and run by Florence Norman, aids women battling various addictions and eating disorders.
These women are given the tools and direction to create and sell their pieces by Sweet Cavanagh. This is not only a form of therapy but also helps integrate the women back into society.
Coming soon to this website!

Exciting things have been happening in the London Ethnic office over the past month, we’re delighted to tell you that we’ll soon be stocking even more quality British made items including new jewellery ranges, organic beauty products and home fragrance.
We’ll be stocking some Little Cote soaps, made in the English countryside and renowned for high quality ethical products we’re delighted to have their products on our site. Range of soaps with different health care benefits, such as the Seagrass soap which contains atlantic seaweed used by the ancient Greeks and can act as an anti-inflammatory, anti-fungal and antiseptic or the G&T range which is made from juniper and a dash of real gin, perfect freshness for summer.
Beefayre is an organic beauty and health brand with profits from sales going to bee conservation, they promote health and happiness whilst teaching about the plight of the honeybee. We’ll be stocking their lipbalms and body butters, both of which are derived from natural ingredients with no parabens or sulphates, and of course none of their products are tested on animals.
In this weeks Get the Look we look at wearing coloured trousers, colour and print on your bottom half has been a trend for a while now but how do you pull it off without looking like you’re in pyjamas?
We think it’s all about teaming them with more tailored or cropped pieces like this print crop top and smart grey across body bag. It’s important to keep makeup and hair sleek too as you’ll look less like you just rolled out of bed and more like you took at least a few minutes to get ready.
We love printed crop tops in the summer, they can be teamed with high waisted skirts or jeans for a daytime look or dressed up with a slick pencil skirt depending on where the mood takes you.
